SEO for UK garages and MOT centres
Fill the bays with drivers who found you on Google
MOTs and services come from the map. Clutches, gearboxes, diagnostics and remaps come from the pages. We get garages into both: a Google Business Profile that ranks, a page for every job you want more of, and reviews that keep arriving from the desk.

Where a garage's work comes from
Two doors, and the map is the bigger one
Search “MOT” and your town on a phone. The map with three garages fills the screen; the ordinary results start with a booking platform. The routine work goes through the map. The expensive work goes through pages that explained the job. Each is won differently, and most garages have only tried one.

The map pack
Sends the MOT, the service, the tyres, the battery. Decided by your Google Business Profile: category, distance, open now, reviews, services filled in. Your website is a supporting act here.
Local SEO for garages02
The organic results
Sends the clutch, the DPF, the gearbox, the remap. Drivers search the job and often the make, read, and ring the garage whose page sounded like it had done it a hundred times.

The adverts
Send whoever is searching this minute, at a price per click, and stop when you stop paying. Useful for MOT and service searches while the other two doors are being built.

No website before, one Google review. We built the site, set the profile up properly, then ran the monthly work. Third in the map pack by week five. Figures are Google's own, 30 days against the 30 before, pulled at the end of August.

What we do
The whole job, in the order it pays
Most garages we audit have a profile that was set up once, a website with one page for everything, and reviews that arrive when someone remembers to ask. We fix the profile first because it is the cheapest lever, then build the pages, then make the reviews a routine.
Google Business Profile
Right primary category, MOT and every service ticked with prices, exact hours including Saturday, photos of the real workshop, a review routine that runs at the desk.
How it worksA page for every job
MOT, servicing, diagnostics, clutch, tyres, brakes, air-con, remapping: each with the town, what is involved, what changes the price and how long the car is off the road.
How it worksA site that loads in a second
Built on our own stack, no page builder. Real photos, a booking link and a number that is one tap on a phone in the car park.
How it worksMentions, measurement and AI answers
DVSA listing, supplier garage finders, real directories, and the pages and markup that get the garage named when a driver asks ChatGPT or Google AI who to trust. Then Search Console read by a person and a monthly report in plain English.
How it works

MOT centres
“MOT near me” is won or lost in the profile
A driver with a deadline wants the nearest open centre with a good rating and a slot this week. Category, hours, price on the service, review pace, and one MOT page that says the town: that is the whole game for the test lane, and we have a service built around it.
- “MOT station” as the right primary or additional category
- Price on the MOT service, where Google now shows it
- A review routine at the desk, when the keys go back
- Reminder texts a month before the next test
Who you are dealing with
A named person, a real address, a phone that gets answered
Garage SEO is run by Daniel Stoychev at Webso Digital, a web and SEO studio in Wrexham. We build the sites ourselves, read the Search Console data ourselves and write the reports ourselves. The garage result above is his work from the first audit to the last title rewrite.
- One person owns your account from audit to report
- ICO registered (ZC207002); enquiries handled under UK GDPR
- Pricing on the website, the same for everyone
Things we will not do
- Build twenty town pages with the name swapped. Google filters them and they drag the good pages down.
- Stuff “MOT Servicing Tyres” into your business name on Google. It gets profiles suspended.
- Buy links or reviews, or ask your staff to review you.
- Promise a position. Nobody controls that; we control the work and show you the numbers.

The garage that keeps taking your MOTs
Competitor Watch snapshots a rival's website: load time, platform, the pages and claims it has that yours does not. Useful before you decide what to build first.
Open Competitor WatchQuestions garage owners ask us
One garage per town, how does that work?
For each town we work with one garage on the Local and Growth tiers, or one per specialism where a town has a general garage and a remapping specialist that do not compete. Tell us your town on the quote form; the reply confirms whether it is free. If it is not, we say so and suggest someone good rather than take the money.
What kind of garages do you work with?
Independent servicing and repair garages, MOT test centres, tyre and exhaust centres, and specialists such as remapping, diagnostics, EV and performance workshops. The method is the same; the categories, the pages and the searches are specific to each. We do not work with main dealers.
How quickly will the bays fill?
Profile fixes register in weeks, which is why the first thing we do is the Google Business Profile. Reviews build over months. New job pages take three to six months to settle. A real remapping garage we launched in July 2026 was third in its map pack by week five; its competitive organic search was still at position eleven two months in. Both are normal, and we say so up front.
Do I have to sign a long contract?
Three months minimum, because nothing meaningful shows in month one, then monthly. If it is not working by month six, we say so before you do.
We already use BookMyGarage. Is this instead of that?
No. Keep the platform while it pays for itself. What we build is the door you own: your profile in the map and your pages in the results, which keep working when you stop paying a platform and do not list your competitors beside you.
Where are you based, and does it matter?
Wrexham, and we work with garages anywhere in the UK. Local SEO is done through your profile, your pages and your reviews, none of which need us in your town. What matters is knowing the trade and the searches, and being able to phone a person.
See what is stopping your garage from ranking
Send us your website and your town. You get a plain-English audit of where you stand against the garages already in the map pack, and a quote. No pressure, no long contract.
