Pricing
Roughly the profit on a few jobs a month, and it should return that many times over
Three tiers, 3-month minimum, then monthly. The difference between them is how many towns you draw from and how much new content each month. Everything else, the profile work, the review routine, the technical care, the monthly report, is in all three.

Prices exclude VAT. Google Ads spend is paid to Google directly, never included or marked up. A new website, where one is needed, is quoted separately from £599.
No retainer, one price
Google Business Profile build: £200, delivered within 5 working days
The profile done properly, once, for a garage that wants the map fixed without a monthly commitment.
One payment. Start Local within 60 days and the £200 is knocked off the first month.
- Claimed, verified or created correctly for the address drivers visit; video verification handled if Google asks
- Primary category chosen for what earns most (auto repair shop or MOT station), the other true ones added: tyres, brakes, air-con, diagnostics
- Google's service list ticked and your own added, with fixed prices where you have them: MOT above all
- Description, real opening hours including Saturday, bank-holiday special hours, and the DVSA and booking links in the right fields
- Photo brief (reception, ramps, lane, van, team), then uploads and captions, logo and cover
- Questions and answers seeded from what the desk gets asked; products for fixed-price jobs such as MOT and service bundles
- Review link, a QR card for the counter and the line to use when the keys go back; replies to existing reviews
- Website link tagged so you can see what the profile sends in Search Console and Analytics
- Keyword-stuffed competitor profiles in your town reported
- A one-page handover: what to post, how often, what never to change
Does it pay?
Your jobs, your close rate, our price
Put in what a job is worth once the parts are paid for, how many enquiries end up on a ramp, and how many extra jobs a month would fill the gaps. The maths below is yours, not a projection.
- Enquiries that needs each month
- 15
- Work those bookings are worth
- £2,700
- Against Local at £399 a month
- 6.8x
- Enquiries a month to break even
- 3
Your figures, your maths. It does not predict what Google will send; the audit does that for your town. It shows what the retainer has to produce to be worth it, which is the question to hold us to.
Left out deliberately
Six things no tier contains
They are the parts of a cheap retainer that look like value on a proposal and cost the garage later. Check any other quote for them.
- A set-up fee. The audit does that job, free.
- A contract beyond month three. After that it is month to month; leave with a month's notice, keep the profile, the pages and the reviews.
- A ranking guarantee. Google is not ours to promise. The work is listed and the Search Console numbers are shown every month.
- Outsourced or machine-written pages. Written here after a talk with whoever runs the desk, checked by you.
- A page for every town on a template. Google's scaled-content policy filters them and the real pages sink with them.
- Bought links, bought reviews, review gating. Policy breaches, and incentivised reviews are an offence under UK consumer law.
Local
One town, one profile
Local. The garage most drivers reach in fifteen minutes. One profile kept right, the core job pages, the review routine, the report.
Growth
A wider draw, or a crowded town
Growth. A specialist pulling from a county, or an independent in a city with a Halfords on page one. New content every month and mentions to match.
Multi-site
Two sites, or a bodyshop next door
Multi-site. Each address gets its own profile, pages and reviews, because Google treats them as separate businesses and so should the work.
The test we use
Is it paying by month twelve?
Month four: impressions rising in Search Console for the searches we targeted. Month six: bookings you can trace, or a plain conversation about why not. Month twelve: bookings covering the cost several times over. We would rather have the month-six conversation than keep invoicing.
Before you compare quotes
Ask for the list
Any quote that cannot say which of profile upkeep, content, mentions, technical care and measurement it includes, and how much of each, is a number without a job attached. The full version of that argument is in our cost guide.
Questions about pricing
Is my town taken?
Ask and the reply says. One garage per town on Local and Growth, one per specialism where two do not compete; whoever starts first holds it.
Why a three-month minimum?
Nothing meaningful shows in month one; judging the work at week four is judging the weather. Three months shows whether impressions are moving in Search Console and whether the plan is right. After that it is monthly.
What is never included?
Google Ads spend, paid to Google on your card. A new website, quoted separately if the current one cannot rank. Booking platform subscriptions. Photography, because the photos have to be of your workshop.
Is there a set-up fee?
No. Month one is heavier on our side because the profile and the site get fixed; that is priced into the tier.
Can we change tier?
At any month end. Garages usually start on Local and move up when the first town is working and they want the specialist jobs from further out.
Are the prices different in a big city?
No. A competitive city takes longer, not more per month. The audit says how long before you commit.
VAT?
Prices exclude VAT. The VAT position is confirmed on the quote.
The audit is free and the quote comes with it
Where you stand, the three garages above you, the tier we would recommend and why. Then you decide.
