Why us
Compare us with a big agency and with doing it yourself, on facts you can check
The reasons to choose Garage SEO are all checkable: one named person does the work and answers the phone, the prices are on the website, the contract is three months and then monthly, you own everything, we take one garage per town, and the studio behind it runs its own sites on the same method. The reasons not to choose us are on this page too, because a garage owner comparing quotes deserves the whole picture rather than the flattering half.
Side by side
Eight questions, three answers each
The first column is us, and every line in it can be verified on this website or with one phone call. The second column describes what is usual in the industry, not any named agency, and where practice varies we say so. The third is the option most garages are actually on.
| Question | Garage SEO | A big agency, usually | Doing it yourself |
|---|---|---|---|
| Who does the work | Daniel Stoychev, who also answers the phone. No account manager, no hand-off to a junior or an offshore writer. | Usually an account manager in front of a team you do not meet; the writing is often outsourced. | You, in the evenings, between the jobs that pay. |
| Who answers the phone | 07591 018609, the person doing the work. | Often a switchboard or a ticket system; the person who knows your account may not be the one who picks up. | Nobody, which is fine until something breaks. |
| The contract | Three months minimum, then monthly with a month's notice. No set-up fee. | Commonly six or twelve months with a set-up fee; check the small print for auto-renewal. | None, and no deadline either, which is why it tends not to get done. |
| Who owns what | You. The domain, the site, every page, the Google profile and the reviews stay yours if you leave. | Varies. Some agencies hold the domain or the site on their platform; ask before you sign. | You own it all, and you also maintain it all. |
| Prices | On the website, the same for everyone: three tiers from £399 a month. | Often quoted after a discovery call and different for each client. | Free in money; expensive in the hours you are not on a ramp. |
| One garage per town | Yes. We do not take a second garage doing the same work in your town. | Rarely. A large agency may have several garages in one area on the same plan, and cannot promise all of them the same slot. | Not applicable, and your competitor may be on an agency's list already. |
| Reporting | A short monthly report from Search Console, which you have your own login to, written by the person who did the work. | Usually a dashboard or a PDF; ask whether you get your own Search Console access. | Search Console is free and yours; the time to read it is the cost. |
| If you stop | The monthly work stops. Everything built stays and keeps working; growth slows over time. | Depends on the contract and who holds the assets. Sometimes the site goes with them. | Nothing changes, because nothing was being done. |
The rule that costs us money
Why one garage per town
The searches a garage wants are finite: “MOT” and the town, “car service” and the town, “clutch” and the town. If we worked for two garages in the same place, we would be building both of them pages for the same searches and setting both profiles up for the same map slots, and one of them would be losing to work we were paid to do. We would know, and they would not.
So we take one. On the Local tier that is the town on your profile; on Growth it is the towns we build pages for; on Multi-site it is each address. Where two workshops do not compete, a body shop and an MOT centre in the same town, both can be clients and each is told the other exists. Where they do compete, the second is turned away in the reply to the quote form, within one working day, in writing.
It limits how many garages we can work with, which is the point. How the rule applies to each kind of workshop, and how to check your town, is on the areas we cover page.
Proof of method
We run our own sites on the same method, and you can inspect every one
Webso Digital builds and runs the sites below itself, on the stack and the method we sell to garages. They are not evidence of rankings or traffic and we do not claim any; they are evidence that we build what we describe, and that anyone can run them through PageSpeed Insights, Quence or a phone in a car park and see the result. The garage numbers we do publish are on the results page, with their caveats.

The honest downside
What you do not get from a one-person studio
- Capacity. One person can run a limited number of accounts properly, so towns get taken and stay taken. If your town is gone, there is no second slot.
- A team on call. There is no 24-hour desk, no Slack channel and no account manager to escalate to. There is a phone, an email and the person who does the work, on weekdays.
- Speed on big jobs. A twenty-page site is built one page at a time by one person. It is done properly and it is not done in a week.
- Guarantees. No position is promised, because nobody controls Google. If you need a guarantee in writing to sign, we are the wrong fit and would rather say so now.

Questions garage owners ask before choosing
You are one person. What happens when you are ill or on holiday?
The monthly work is planned, not reactive, so a week away moves a page by a week and nothing else. The profile does not stop working and the pages do not stop ranking because nobody is at a desk. What we do not offer is a 24-hour desk or a team to escalate to, and we say so here rather than pretend on a sales call.
Why should I believe a comparison written by one of the parties?
You should not, without checking. The middle column describes what is common in the industry, with 'usually' and 'often' where it belongs, and names nobody. Everything in the first column is a fact you can check: the price on this website, the address and the ICO number in the footer, the phone answered by the person named, the sites we run. Ask any other agency the same eight questions and compare the answers.
Is one garage per town a marketing line?
No, it is a constraint we work under, and it costs us money. Two garages in the same town chasing the same searches is a conflict we would have to hide from one of them, so we take one. Your town is confirmed free, in writing, in the reply to the quote form, and if it is taken we say so.
Do you outsource anything?
No writing and no profile work. The one thing bought in is the hosting hardware, which is our own rented servers rather than a page-builder platform. Photographs come from you, because they have to be of your workshop.
Where are the client testimonials?
There are none on this site, on purpose. We publish numbers from Search Console with the caveats attached, on the results page, and we would rather show one real garage's figures than ten quotes you cannot check. When there is a second case, it goes up the same way.
Ask us the eight questions, then ask the others
Put your town and your website on the quote form. You get the audit, the three garages above you, the tier that fits, and a written answer on whether your town is free, within one working day.
